About WFGN
A national initiative empowering women in fisheries, aquaculture, marine biology, seaweed, and blue economy sectors
WFGN – Women Fisheries Graduates Network is a national platform dedicated to empowering women in fisheries, aquaculture, marine science, and the blue economy.
We bring together women students, graduates, researchers, and young professionals to create an inclusive ecosystem that supports scientific growth, leadership development, entrepreneurship, and global collaboration in fisheries-related sectors.
Our work aligns with key United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), focusing on strengthening livelihoods, food systems, gender equity, climate resilience, and aquatic ecosystem sustainability.
